The weak point
Ordinary brush strips don't stop a determined rat
Standard brush and rubber seals rely on nylon bristles or soft rubber. Rodents chew through them in days. Raxit seals carry stainless-steel wires through the sealing edge, so there is nothing soft left to get through.
Door seals for the one gap that has to stay open
A door can't be filled, foamed or welded shut. Raxit door seals combine a flexible TPV skirt with 316L acid-resistant stainless steel, so the door moves freely and the gap stays closed to rodents.

What's inside the seal
The stainless-steel wires are formed into controlled waves before they are embedded. That patented geometry keeps each wire locked in position as the seal flexes and rubs against the floor, so the reinforcement doesn't migrate out over time.

Take the full width of the opening and the largest gap between the door and the floor.

Cut the seal to the exact door width with metal snips, and trim the height if the frame requires it.

An open drain is an open door
Every floor trap, sink and urinal connects your building straight to the sewer. A water seal in the trap is supposed to block it, but in low-use washrooms, store rooms and kitchens that water evaporates, and the pipe is left open.
That is how cockroaches and drain flies get in after every pest treatment, and how sewer smells keep coming back no matter how often the floor is cleaned.
Green Drain closes the pipe physically. Water pushes the silicone skirt open, and once the flow stops the skirt seals itself again, whether the trap holds water or not.

Each seal has stainless-steel wires running through the sealing edge in a multi-layer, gnaw-resistant build. Independent testing confirmed rodents could not penetrate the barrier even after prolonged exposure.
How long does installation take?
Most doors are done in under 30 minutes. The seal is measured, cut to length and either stuck on or screwed through the pre-drilled profile. Our team handles the complete installation for you.
How long do the seals last?
Durability tests show no degradation after more than 13,000 door cycles, and seals in real installations have protected entrances for over five years without needing replacement.
What gap sizes can be sealed?
Door seals cover gaps from 5 mm to 50 mm under the door. Larger or irregular openings around pipes and cables are closed with Raxwool Pro, Raxstop or the Raxfoam bundle.
Can they be used outdoors?
Yes. The door seals, Raxwool and Raxstop are made for indoor and outdoor use. The stainless steel resists corrosion, and testing showed a 97% reduction in water getting under the door.
Do they use chemicals or poison?
No. These are physical barriers. They keep rodents out without baits or chemicals, which makes them suitable for food, pharma and other sensitive areas.
What does Green Drain do?
It is a drain insert with a patented self-sealing silicone skirt. Water flows down through it, and once the flow stops the skirt closes, keeping odours, pests, sewer gases and airborne bacteria from coming back up.
Will it slow down my drain?
No. Every model is built for high flow, from about 29 LPM on the smallest sink size up to 550 LPM or more on the 6-inch commercial kitchen model.
How is it installed?
Remove the grate, push Green Drain 2 to 4 inches down into the pipe, then close the grate and fasten the screws. No cutting, glue or plumbing work is needed.
Can it be fitted into existing drains?
Yes. It is designed as a retrofit and fits into existing floor traps, sinks and urinals. Hybrid models cover pipes where the inner and outer diameters don't match.
Which size do I need?
It depends on the inside diameter of the pipe. 11 models cover pipes from 32 mm to 155 mm. Our team measures each drain during the site visit and fits the matching model.
How do I clean it?
Lift off the grate and pull the insert out. It has no moving parts, hinges or springs, so it can be rinsed and pushed back in place.
Is it certified?
The self-sealing membrane is approved under WaterMark WMTS 522:2021 as a supplementary protective device, and complies with ASSE 1072-2007, ICC-ES certified for use with a trap primer unless approved as a deemed-to-satisfy or performance solution.
